Congrats to the beautiful Spencer and Ashton on tying the knot! Here is a little preview of their special day. On this wedding, I was assisting the amazing Cherie Starke from Cherie Starke Photography. Go check her out :) She is the best photographer in Southern Utah!
The location was Walnut Grove, in Moorpark, CA. And they had a 32 Ford! how could it get any better?
I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend so far! Just finished working on this little engagement session that I had the chance to shoot with Sarah and Trevor. I cannot wait for their wedding at the Petersen Automotive Museum… mixing two of my favorite things: weddings and cars!
Shot at the Eaton Canyon Nature Center.
If you haven’t noticed, I have been doing quite a lot of headshot sessions lately… You might be thinking about getting headshots done and may be wondering what a headshot session with me entails. Well keep reading and you’ll find out! My sessions typically run about 45 minutes and include up to 2 outfit changes, in one location. I am a natural light photographer so location is important! If you haven’t a clue or would like advice on where to shoot, I have a few great spots that I can recommend. I also always recommend having your hair and makeup done before a session and can connect you with some awesome hair and makeup people that I work with if you don’t have someone in mind.
You can expect 15-25 edited images in a password protected online gallery. These images will go through a basic edit before being sent to you. From that gallery you can choose your two favorites to be fully retouched. Once that’s done I send you high res copies of both your retouched images and your original 15-25 edited images!
A little preview of my headshot session with Libby! If you are interested in getting headshots done, sessions start at $175.00 for a 45 minutes. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
A little peak into my engagement session with Lydia and Joe; a couple of LA transplants all the way from Alabama. They even brought along little Sandy, a dog who had far more energy that any of us on our 90 degree hike through the park.
Shot at Debs Park in Los Angeles, and on York Blvd.
When you plan for a summer in LA, the one thing you don’t expect is…. rain. But that’s exactly what we got for Kevin and Christina’s Descanso Gardens wedding. In the middle of July we experienced some of the most significant rainfall all year. But that didn’t stop us for getting our shots! We treaded through mud, rain, and used some really cute umbrellas to create some of the images you see below. Here’s a small preview of their big day… Shoutout to my assistant and second shooter Lizzie!

Its rare you get the chance to photograph at a place as special at Stanford. Its even rarer when you get the chance to photographer someone you’ve known for years tie the knot at such an amazing place. But a couple weeks back I was lucky enough to get the chance to be a part of Sara and Eric’s big day in Palo Alto…
Thanks to Rachel Howden for assisting me! http://www.rachelhowdenphotography.com/
Normally I ask my couples to laugh and giggle, and if it doesn’t come right away just fake it! But with these two…. I couldn’t get them to stop laughing. Which was absolutely perfect. You can tell that Danielle and Zach were made for each other, just look at their images… Don’t we all hope to someday find someone we have this much fun with?
Off to Venice Beach again for this shoot! We explored the alleys and streets around Abbott Kinney and eventually wandered over to the beach where we jumped into the water.
We got some great new headshots for Will and a fantastic mix of shots along the way.
Because such an amazing day doesn’t require much captioning.
Congrats to Aly and Marie on their beautiful wedding at Occidental College!!
Thank you to my wonderful assist Lizzie from Lizzie Photography. http://www.lizziphotography.com/
