I will let you in on a little secret I was turned on to a couple years back… Outside of Las Vegas there is a little community called Nelson, and you need to go and visit. This place was one of the coolest locations I’ve ever shot in, and I owe my introduction to the amazing Dave Doeppel. Most of these shots just give you a little introduction to this really amazing oasis in the Nevada desert. Shoutout to Becca Rillo and Katie Layne for the cameos ;)
Stumbled across some photos I took with Will a while back at El Matador Beach in Malibu, CA. It’s pictures like this that make me consider going to the gym.
Taylor and I go way back. Close to 10 years back. And while she has been tearing it up on the dance circuit (and is now a certified Pilates instructor!) I have had the chance to photograph her a couple times. This may be from last year but I am still in love with them!

Cars and photography. My two passions in life collided a couple weeks back with Sarah and Trevor’s big day. Taking place at the newly reopened Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, their wedding incorporated their families’ love for cars and the beautiful Los Angeles skyline into one incredible event. Thank you for much to Lizzi for the assistance!
Engagement sessions around the holiday are the best. The holidays bring family and friends together and give us a chance to look back on what’s really important in life. And right before the holidays I had the chance to photograph these two. Hannah and Dan are Pittsburgh natives and flew out to LA to celebrate the holiday with family. So what better way to spend an hour in LA than hanging out at the world famous Griffith Observatory?
I cant believe I am just now finally getting around to blogging Jillian and Nick’s big day. One of my most fun weddings of 2015, Jillian and Nick were phenomenal. Nick has been part of my family for years so when he proposed to Jillian, I couldn’t wait to be a part of it. Here is a look into their big day!
I have known Jackie for almost 20 years. And if you know my age, you know that’s been quite a large part of my life. So when she asked me to shoot her wedding, it was an honor. She and Dan were absolutely amazing to work with, and their wedding was a blast to be a part of. The ceremony and reception took place at the Altadena Country Club, a location with top notch staff and incredible food. Here’s a peek into their big day!
With 2016 fast approaching, this is booking season for all those Summer weddings! My weekends are filling up quick so contact me if you are engaged and want to know more about my wedding photography. While I know this post is not what i normally post about… I wanted to share some of the photos I shot while working with Hoonigan on their Black Friday video. In case you didn’t know, cars are my first love. And while I love shooting people, working with cars will always hold a special place in my heart. Earlier this year I joined Nissan’s TBWA/Chiat Day advertising team and have since had the opportunity to shoot some absolutely incredible vehicles.
You can find the Hoonigan Black Friday video below.
Finishing nursing school is a reason to celebrate! So when Chelsea contacted me about shooting her graduation photos (as well as some ones for fun) I knew it was going to be fun.
